Veellu Herolu enti ra bhagavantudaaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a limit for EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. I don’t think Industry wallah’s seem to have heard or read this.

The reason for my complaint here is, in the good olden days, people with reasonably good looks and acting skills were becoming actors. But now days even with no acting capabilities and not even reasonably good looks everyone is becoming an actor.

Look at these heroes – Kiran Tej and Harinath Policherla.

It is heard that Kiran Tej dad has lots and lots of money and produced his son’s film 'Brahma' making his elder son as the producer. I will talk about him and his film in more detail later.

Harinath on the other hand being a practicing doctor in USA earned so much money that he can produce atleast 15 films keeping him as the main protagonist. He also owns IMAGE hospitals in Hyderabad. 15 films emi karma, 51 films ayinaa teestaadu aa maatram backing vuntey.

He already produced and acted in Premaaya Namaha, Alex, Hope and now Chandrahas. He also named himself as ‘Rising Star’. I almost had tears in my eyes ( or may be blood ) watching some scenes of Chandrahas on Gemini. I can only imagine the plight of audience in theaters.

Idantaa choostuntey naaku okati anipistondhi. Dabbu Vuntey Evadayinaa Hero ayipovachaa ?

Jiddu laaga tagulukunna J.D.

Chakravarthy more often known as J.D. Chakravarthy by the telugu film audience marked his debut in Ram Gopal Varma’s debut path breaking blockbuster ‘Shiva’ as a fellow student named J.D. After that, he played several supporting, side and lead roles in Telugu before RGV launched him in bollywood through ‘Satya’.

He re-surfaced again in Telugu through several films which flopped miserably at the box office. He ghost directed ‘Suri’ which had its plot very similar to ‘Satya’. This was later dubbed into Hindi as ‘Durga’. J.D took credit for the hindi version for direction whereas the telugu version doesn’t show his name as the director. God only must be knowing what he was thinking for putting his name as the director for a dubbing movie.

He again ghost directed 'Madhyahnam Hatya' which drew a lot of flak from several women organizations. Finally he made an official entry into direction through ‘Darwaaza Bandh Rakho’. GOD…What a piece of crap were all these films !! Not even in a single frame in any of these movies had J.D shown his creative talent.

Now it is learnt that he is planning to remake the 2006 Academy Award winning Martin Scorsese classic ‘The Departed’. This film takes place in Boston, Massachusetts, where Irish Mob boss Francis "Frank" Costello (Jack Nicholson) implants Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) as an informant within the Massachusetts State Police. Simultaneously, the police assign Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) to infiltrate Costello's crew. When both sides of the law realize the situation, the two men are dispatched to discover each other's identities.

JD is planning to make this film with Jagapathi Babu and himself in the lead along with Prakash Raj in the role Jack Nicholson made immortal. The title under consideration is ‘Homam’.

As always, Ram Gopal Varma, the man who believed in JD from his initial days and also produced all his directorial ventures (apart from Suri) is producing this film.

I sincerely wish JD good luck but at the same time pray to GOD to save this film from being a digusting INSPIRED version of ‘The Departed’.

One more from the Family !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is heard that Allu Sireesh, brother of Allu Arjun is going to be launched next year as hero. It might be produced by none other than their own banner Geeta Arts. So after Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, and Charan there is going to be one more addition to the actor’s list from the family.

Remember Kalyan Babu (Pawan Kalyan was introduced as Kalyan Babu) in Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi. He has come a long way from being a shobby actor to what he commands right now. Same with Allu Arjun. During Gangothri times, can anybody even in their wildest dreams would have imagined how he would transform into in just 3 years ??

One thing the industry wallahas doesn’t seem to understand is the pain audience have to go through until their "Babu's" reach that stage. Ippudu mana meedaki Allu Sireesh anta.

Em Chestam….Khandistaam !!!!!

Time Maarindhi !!!!

Time anni saarlu oke laaga vundadu. Idhi andhariki telisina satyamey. The latest example for this is Dasari Narayan Rao. He being an union minister, is earning lots of money (everyone knows how). Being a very loyal filmi person, he started investing the money back in Telugu Film Industry (TFI). Siri Media ani oka company start chesaru binami names tho. Modatlo konna anni movies flops aey. The list goes on like this –

1. Jai Chiranjeeva

2. Super

3. Style (It’s a semi-hit, but none could make maoney because of over budget)

4. Oka V Chitram (also produced by the same company)

5. Political Rowdy

6. Game

7. Sree

8. Boss

9. Manasu Palikey Mouna Ragam

10. Vallabha

11. Sainikudu

Kaani the man with the golden hand, Puri Jagannadh changed the fate of this company. It started with Desamuduru. Then Aadivaram Aadavallaki Selavu followed by Dhee and Dubai Seenu.

Looks like finally Siri Media ki Siri Vachindhi !!!

Next Movie Budget Enta ????

Shankar started off with a big budget movie Gentleman and from then his movie budgets kept on increasing with the success range of each film. Shivaji is touted to be the most costliest film in India with the biggest star of South India.

Now I wonder after getting used to such magnificient sets and lavish production values, any star he selects for his next film now wouldn’t have one third of the business range that Shivaji has done.

My mind keeps on guessing what could be the budget of Shankar’s next movie and whom should he cast in it to pull it off.

Any Guesses ???????????

Shankardada Zindabad Trailer -1

Telivayina Bunny

Aata was initially offered to Allu Arjun and Bunny might have jumped to work with M.S. Raju. At that time it was named as Veera.

After the script came to a shape, Bunny dropped from the project and I wondered for almost 8 months whether Bunny was crazy to do this. But now its clear to everyone why he had done that. I can only imagine Bunny saying,

“What do you think, I’m required to do a Gudumba Shankar once again?”

Mahesh Manjrekar to direct in Telugu

Mahesh Manjrekar is going to direct a Telugu Film very soon for RGV. I wonder what might be the reason for him to turn to regional movies and especially TELUGU movies.

I have seen almost all his directorial ventures, and personally feel that other than VAASTAV non had been even worth a watch. Ippudu ikkada telugu lo teestaadu antaa !!!!! Opinions apart, the movie is going to star Raja and the heroine is yet to be finalized.

Avasaramaa Manaku Idhi ????

Idhi Jarigey Paney naa ????????

Industry lo talk entante ‘Aarya’ fame Sukumar after Jagadam flopped is in hibernation since then and is heard to have challenged that “he would direct a movie and release it in 2007 itself and will give a superhit”.

Kaani it looks like there is no hero ready to work with him right now and even the heroes interested in working with him are not free before March 2008, so aa sapadham sangathi aa Devudiki, Sukumarki teliyali!

Original DVD's at Rs.34 /-

Moser Baer, a world leader in the development and manufacture of removable data and storage media has opened its outlet in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. All original DVD's are priced at Rs.34 !!!

With this news, my body is all eyes trying to catch someone who is flying to California so that I can avoid paying $10 to $15 for the DVD's here.
